I've learned...

That the afternoon knows what the morning never suspected.

I've learned....
That the easiest way for me to grow as a person is to surround myself with people I care for and share the lessons I've learned.

I've learned....
That the only Script I get to write is my own. I need to be the change I want to see.

I've learned....
That life goes by quick. Whatever we would do, we should do it now.

I've learned....
That I am glad God doesn't give me everything I ask for [or everything I deserve :-)].

I've learned....
That character can't be purchased. It's formed in the trenches.

I've learned...
That under everyone's hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated and loved.

I've learned....
That when I plan to get even with someone, I am putting myself back where they are at. And I will be of no use to either them or me.

I've learned....
That love not time, heals all wounds.

I've learned.
That everyone I meet deserves to be greeted with a smile.

I've learned....
That no one is perfect, we are all flawed. If I forgive them, maybe they will forgive me when it is my turn.

I've learned....
That life is tough, but I'm persistent.

I've learned....
That opportunities are never lost; someone will take the ones I miss.

I've learned....
That when I harbor bitterness, happiness will dock elsewhere.

I've learned....
That I should keep my words both soft and tender, because tomorrow I may have to eat them.

I 've learned....
That a smile is an inexpensive way to improve my looks.

I've learned....
That I can choose how I feel, if I think about it.

I've learned....
That even though I want to live on top of the mountain, most the happiness and all growth occur while I'm climbing it.

I've learned...
That I wish I could have told my dad [and my brother and my sister and my friend...] that I loved him one more time before he passed away.

I've learned....
That it's those small daily happenings and friends like you that makes life so spectacular. Thanks.
