I can write a book on things not to say, by stupid things I said yesterday. I can write a book on things not to do, by stupid things I did yesterday. Me

We are snared by our words and held captive by the dynamo matrix set in motion when they are spoken. We are writing to the formula of the fabric. It rains on the just and the unjust-the principles of operation are the same for all.

The power of life and death are in the tongue-the life of a dream or a goal or a desire. Whatsoever a man soweth...what goes in on one side of the equation, goes in on the other. Whatever I speak into your life will take root in mine. If I want life to my dream, I need to speak life to yours.

The hardest thing to do is to be forgiving to a bee that is still stinging us. But to get the dream we desire, we must speak life to what they are reaching for-to have a sense of selfworth, to overcome feelings of failure... We and They don't realize our words are creating the environment in which we reside. If we want an atmosphere of a sense of well being, we must speak words that create it.

The difference between the composition of The True Narrative And The Science of Context and The New Age Theme of The Power of Positive Thinking is knowing the Author. My words cause me more trouble than all other mechanisms combined...how about you?

The Dash

by Linda Ellis

I read of a reverend who stood to speak,
At the funeral of a friend;
He referred to the dates on her tombstone,
From the beginning to the end.

He noted that first came the date of her birth,
And spoke of the following date with tears;
But he said what mattered most of all,
Was the dash between those years.

For that dash represents all the time,
That she spent alive on earth;
And now only those who loved her,
Know what that little line is worth.

For it matters not, how much we own,
The cars, the house, the cash;
What matters is how we live and love,

And how we spend our dash.

So think about this long and hard,
Are there things you'd like to change?
For you never know how much time is left,
That can still be rearranged.

If we could just slow down enough,
To consider what's true and real;
And always try to understand,
The way other people feel.

And be less quick to anger,
And show appreciation more;
And love the people in our lives,
Like we've never loved before.

If we treat each other with respect,
And more often wear a smile?
Remembering that this special dash,
Might only last a little while.

So, when your eulogy's being read,
With your life's actions to rehash;
Would you be proud of the things they say,
About how you spent your dash?
